Curry leaves with their beta-carotene, amino acid, and antioxidants, inhibit hair fall, by strengthening hair follicles. The proteins found in curry leaves prevent hair thinning as well. Vitamin B is abundant in curry leaves and helps in hair growth by keeping your hormonal discharge in control. This vitamin is also responsible for maintaining hair flexibility and preventing premature graying of your hair. When used topically on the scalp, curry leaves boost blood circulation, removing any harmful toxins, revitalizing your hair.


How to Use Curry Leaves for Hair Growth

Curry Leaves with Coconut Oil (Helps Prevent Gray Hair)

Make a tonic by heating up some curry leaves in 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Strain the mixture and wait until it cools down. Apply on the tips and roots of your hair and leave for around one hour, followed by washing off with shampoo. Repeat the method twice or thrice every week.

Instead of coconut oil, you can also use curry leaves in a cup of warm water or half cup of mustard oil. Curry leaves may also be used in a powder form to prevent and darken gray hair.

Curry Leaves with Olive Oil and Almond Oil

Blend and warm ½ cup of curry leaves with equal amounts of olive oil and almond oil for around fifteen minutes. Apply the mixture when cool and leave it overnight followed by proper washing with shampoo. Repeat thrice a week.

Curry Leaves with Hibiscus Leaves

Blend 25-30 curry leaves, and 10 hibiscus leaves along with two tablespoons of water to apply to your hair. You might add yogurt to this mixture for making it more effective. Leave it for around 45 minutes and rinse off with shampoo.

Blend 4-5 tablespoons of yogurt, a handful of curry leaves, and neem leaves well. Apply the paste like a hair mask. Leave it for half an hour and wash off with shampoo. If possible do it daily or else once in a week.

Instead of yogurt or curd, you can use milk (around two tablespoons) or egg white as well. This procedure has a positive impact on reducing hair fall and dandruff.
